 Community School District 21

PS 199 is a member of Community School District 21.  Under the leadership of Superintendent Isabel DiMola, PS 199 works to ensure that student achievement goals and accountability measures are met.

In addition, PS 199 is also guided by a Community Education Council.  There are 32 Community Education Councils (CECs) in New York City, each governing a Community School District that includes public elementary and intermediate schools.  Each council has 11 voting members including nine parents of students in public elementary and intermediate schools in the district. There are two additional voting members who are appointed by the borough presidents and must be residents of or own or operate a business in the district.
